Our Heart
We worry so much about what a child or teenager will become tomorrow, yet we forget to invest, infuse, inspire, imbue, and emulate life among them. Today’s younger generation represents the future, and there can be no future without the present. Many times we do not conceptualize the reality that life gives us the opportunity to impart TRUTH to the present generation - truth that will lead them to live out those premium purposes we desire to see developed in their lives.
How much longer will we remain silent? How much
more are we going to put up with watching lust breed
in the minds of our tweens? How far will we allow our
teenagers to get caught up in the habits that ravage
their lives? Can we pretend to be blind to the lack of
focus in the lives and careers of our talented, potential
youths? How can we sleep as our children rebel
against their own parents, the ones who pour out their
lives to raise them up? How can we damage our own
family institutions by letting adolescents get involved in
emotional and physical adultery?
Are we ignoring the disintegration of our societal and
spiritual values? Something must be done. It is time to
stand with the tender lives of the new generation and
help them out.
